Just back from New York City where I was looking after media for the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood’s Wake Up Breakfast hosted by Arianna Huffington, Donna Karan and White Ribbon Alliance Global Patron Sarah Brown.  

I'm off to New York with The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood this week with activists from India, Nepal and Tanzania will be at this year’s UNGA to raise the voices of women around the world and ensure world leaders gathering in New York for the UNGA don’t forget about the 800 women and 8,500 babies still dying every day from complications in pregnancy and childbirth. On Friday i will be looking after press at the White Ribbon Alliance's annual ‘Wake Up Call; Women’s Breakfast for Maternal Health’ UNGA event in New York, in collaboration with Urban Zen and Merck for Mothers.

This year in the UK we have a beautiful exhibition of our Dreams for My Daughter campaign (which we launched last year), by leading photographer Joanna Vestey at WOW – Women of the World festival at Southbank Centre from International Women’s Day,  8th March until Sunday 11th March 2012.
