As ever things are going crazy at Happy PR HQ in the lead up to International Women’s Day on 8th March.
It’s is shaping up to be a big moment for The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood & partners.
This year in the UK we have a beautiful exhibition of our Dreams for My Daughter campaign (which we launched last year), by leading photographer Joanna Vestey at WOW – Women of the World festival at Southbank Centre from International Women’s Day, 8th March until Sunday 11th March 2012. Look out for the big features in You Magazine Sunday 4 March and Hello for Mother’s Day.
You can also see view a short film entitled 'Play Your Part' from Tanzania where Joanna Vestey shot many of the portraits on the official Glastonbury Festival site - www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk from 3rd March. It features a soundtrack by leading East African hip hop artist Sugu aka Mr 11- now an MP and a White Ribbon Alliance Tanzania Champion – and will be shown at the Exhibition at Southbank.

Globally in the lead up to International Women’s Day and the Inter Parliamentary Union in March 2012, The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (WRA) is calling on members in 155 countries to reach out to politicians and local leaders.
